BAGUIO: WINACA ART DOLLS

NOTES:
These are the experimental sample dolls, sone are not yet completed.
Heads are made of inner (old socks) and outer (T shirt material) Hats can be crocheted or made of cloth.  Head scarves are the easiest.
Jewelry made of old unused jewelry, and shapes from soft drink cans and old electric wires, beads, plastic straws cut in small sizes.
Hair is made of black felt, or black yarn, and old electric wires.

A pair of chopsticks holds the back of head and body.
Eyes and lips are embroidered.

Nose is half of cotton bud inserted between 2 face layers.

My tailoring skills are not so good – I am sure the Winaca ladies can do a lot better than my ugh sleeves, bodice, etc.!!

I only had a small amount of Narda’s remnants which I used sparingly, but the trainees can use a lot more than I have done with these samples.
Reminder: intended to  use on the wall!!!
The fat lady is a Baknang from the minas.
